Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end from American football that played in the National Football League. He spent 17 years in the field. Gonzalez is regarded as one of the best tight ends of all time. Additionally, he was the leader in receiving yards, and the third in total receptions, Gonzalez also was the NFL tight end with the most receptions.

Gonzalez was released by the Falcons on the 15th of March 2013 for a contract that was worth 14 million dollars over two years. This was even though he claimed that he was going to retire after the season. With the retirement of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez was the NFL's active leader in yards receptive.
